Steven is a highly experienced Consultant and has worked with us since 2003. Having trained as a journalist, Steven brings excellent written and analytical skills.
He is an expert in analysing large amounts of both quantitative and qualitative information, and summarising this in a meaningful and user friendly way. He has experience of producing reports, guidance and promotional materials for a wide range of audiences.
Steven also has strong experience of qualitative research, reviews and evaluations. He is skilled at facilitating workshops, focus groups and depth interviews, using both innovative and more traditional methods.
Before working at ODS, Steven worked as a reporter at local and national papers, and as a policy official within the Scottish Government. He also spent two years living in Japan teaching English.

Steven has a degree in Politics and English (BA Hons) and a postgraduate degree in Urban Policy and Practice (MSc). He also has a Journalism Diploma from University of Strathclyde.
