Emma Hewitt – Consultant

emmaEmma has worked with us since 2008. She is an experienced and skilled Consultant.

Emma has particularly strong qualitative research skills.  She regularly uses traditional and more innovative research techniques to gather views and experiences.

She has expertise in working with vulnerable people, including asylum seekers, children and young people, minority ethnic people and disabled people.  She is skilled at helping people to feel comfortable and able to fully express their views.

Before working with us, Emma had six years experience as a social researcher in Glasgow, Edinburgh and London.  She managed many large scale projects for central and local government, including the Department of Health, Department for Children, Schools and Families, and the Home Office.

Qualifications

Emma has a degree in Social Geography (BA Hons) and a postgraduate degree in Social Research (MSc).  Both are from University of Strathclyde.
