Andrew joined ODS as a Director in 2003. Before working with us, he led Glasgow Alliance – the community planning partnership in Glasgow. He set up Glasgow's network of Social Inclusion Partnerships, and led on producing Glasgow's first Community Plan.
Andrew is an acknowledged expert on community regeneration, joint working and social inclusion in Scotland. He also leads our work in the fields of equalities, the third sector, and community safety.
Andrew is a highly skilled facilitator. He has a calm, relaxed and engaging style. He is skilled in supporting people to feel comfortable, involved and able to express their views.
Andrew also worked for Scottish Homes for 11 years, in a variety of senior positions. He was Director of Shettleston Housing Association for 9 years. He has been Chair of the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations and Director of Glasgow 1999: Year of Culture and Design.
