Our Interests: Community Planning and Single Outcome Agreements

Andrew Fyfe brings particular expertise in this area, having been the Director of Glasgow Alliance (the first community planning partnership for Glasgow) for five years.  We all believe in the concept of community planning – and are keen to help convert this into good practice.

Community Planning Support

We have operated in a number of different ways to support community planning:

• We worked intensively with partners to embed outcome focused planning throughout East Renfrewshire Community Planning Partnership and to ensure that the Fairer Scotland Fund was used to deliver the Single Outcome Agreement.
• We produced and maintained for the Scottish Centre for Regeneration the How to Guide to Joined up Working – an online resource bringing together advice, good practice and case studies in joined up working.
• We gathered all the available data on equality in Glasgow and consulted with equality groups to support Glasgow Community Planning Partnership develop its Equality and Diversity Strategy.
• We have evaluated the impact of the Fairer Scotland Fund for the West Lothian, Clackmannanshire and Glasgow Community Planning Partnerships.
• We assisted South Ayrshire Council in the preparation of its Single Outcome Agreement.
